The Story We Walk Into

by drdeb / Tuesday, 22 March 2016 / Published in Be the best YOU, Be Your Best Self, Build the Strength Within, Partners In Excellence

Everybody has their pain. what’s yours? Nothing? Something? Are you looking at it or are you looking away from it?

What you hold as your perspective and  how you interact with it in your mind is the story of how your life will turn out. This is a big deal for each one of us and so deserving of our contemplations. Indeed, we have complete influence over what it is that this experience called our life becomes–no matter what.

If this sounds incredible to you, excellent. It is incredible.

We have deliveries made to us daily and all across the course of the day, each and every day. It is up to us to find a way to handle those arrivals whether they are people, diseases, grins or grudges, what we allow in the way of our state of mind is everything.

We have each been around a person who can turn everything into something dramatic and negative. Those people are tough to endure. If you are healthy, you are either trying to influence them into a healthy positive mindset or you have taken cover and moved out of their realm as best you can. If you allow yourself a bit of reflection here, think about the ways in which that negative person has taken even things that you have thought are blessings and something made them hassles. Negative becomes a habit.

The good news is that so does positivity. Joyfulness is actually quite addictive. Once your mind adapts to the patterns of taking anything delivered and then immediately and automatically searching for the opportunity to learn from it, to find the blessing into,  the mind discovers relief…..relief from angst and stress and hopelessness. Being negative is being absent of hope.

The winning formula for building upon your inner strength is simple:

H x T + F + PAB + PI = BYIS

H=hope, T = trust, F = faith, PB = proactive behavior, PI = positive intention, BYIS = building your inner strength

Give it a genuine try……for a full day, then another and another and another. Make your story a images-1good one, walk into something lovely over and again.
