There are so many ways for us to get motivated, find inspiration, and feel the drive to move beyond where we are currently. I find my sources are both earthly and heavenly.
For my earthly well-being, I want my body to be as strong and healthy as possible. For so many years, my priorities were elsewhere and I became cavalier about my wellness. The time to recovery is long, interesting, and a complete blessing–I still have the ability to achieve it. We each do.
The limitations that we place upon our own selves starts in our mind and then migrates to our spirit, which results in a sadness that is known as defeat. And what the human spirit really craves is a sense of accomplishment. We have been accomplishing all of our life, we know how to do it and do it effectively. I invite you to make a list, right now, of the little things that you have accomplished–good luck trying to stop once you get going at it because there are so many! And then, an hour from now, begin the list of the big things you have been able to achieve. Be honest, not shy, and own the reality of your ability to achieve.
Your inner strength is right inside of you–reach in and tap it!
And if you are eager for the process to be highly enjoyable and in the accompaniment of others, come join our online course–strength Training: Total Life Fitness available through www.drdebcarlin.com.
