Famous lines from a commercial that most of us have heard. Right? The strangeness of it is that we have been falling down our entire life — we began as toddlers, it is something we have learned to manage so that we don’t get hurt. However, as we move through the decades of our life, this falling down in life becomes a threat to our survival and there is genuine fear.
Understandable.
And yet, in reality, there is a subtle fear that resides in all of us daily and it continues all across our life experience — if we are sincerely tuning into our inner voice, our thoughts, our internal dialogue. We don’t want to fail, we don’t want to be a loser in this life experience, we don’t want to fall down on the job, as the saying goes. If allowed, this fear becomes an enormous angst.
This fear and anxiety tie directly into the theme of juggling and managing many tasks and demands simultaneously. It takes genuine mindfulness to keep things up in the air. A professional juggler will tell you it takes years of practice not only to learn to juggle but to also know when and how to stop — to catch all the items and bring the routine to a halt so you can rest.
It is mid week. You are in the midst of whatever it is that demands that you attend to it. What are you juggling today and through Friday? Are you allowing yourself to focus on keeping it all going now so that you don’t fall or fail?
You’ve got a few days left in the typical work week, make it good, a successful juggling and balancing act, one that comes to a restful close with pride. Make it happen, you can do this…you are all about success! You’ve got incredible inner strength.
