Be prepared, readiness is a calming strategy

At the center of them, you will most likely note the theme of not feeling prepared. It’s a terrible feeling, isn’t it?

How do we get prepared?

This is a very simply exercise and yet, it is the toughest thing for most of us to do. What follows here is the formula.

i.e., readiness happens when you step aside from all the busy activities and pause long enough to think, to contemplate, to prepare. It means having to assume a position of reflection and inward focus.

Sit where you are right now, and make another list — this time of 3 things that you need to take of of in order to feel prepared. Use this exercise as your solution, your remedy, your cure for that awful feeling of not being ready. Do this and you will find this exercise produces a state of calm.
