I was born in this country and I love it here, I love the land, the tradition, the richness, the beauty.
I embrace the songs of our country and sing them proudly.
When I was a child, my parents took me to Washington, D.C. to see the monuments and to feel the presence of authority and democracy that we embrace in the USA. It was a beautiful experience and it left a life long impression.
However, I also feel an enormous ache in my heart as I look around and I know it is what has propelled me to take a stand, to develop my line of work to save our nation, our great people…..truly — by pressing forth the issue of having us all Build The Strength Within. There is so much crap taking place and it is unnecessary.
When did Americans decide they should not pay for their doctor to care for them? When did insurance coverage begin to loom so large that a person would make decisions about their life employment position based upon the benefits plan? When did doctors stop making house calls and knowing you by name and as a member of your family — the family he delivered the members of and who all he knew by name?!
When did Congress shift gears away from taking care of the national issues of concern like our infrastructure, education, and care of its people and turn to professional athletes taking steroids?
Do they really have time for that when our children are receiving less quality education, too many American children are suffering from starvation, and our elderly are in care facilities who, all too often, are abusing them?
Have you seen the movie — Mr Smith Goes to Washington? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD-lFCsYOPs
When did our great nation change and become the Anything Goes, Anything is OK Country……? When did physicians lose their voice and have the government and the accountants take over how to practice medicine and why aren’t they charged with practicing without a license?
I’ve never bought into the current model, I hold onto my belief that America still has beauty, strength, and integrity. I hold onto the reality that we are each responsible for our own health and the relationship we establish with our doctors. We are the decision makers of our healthcare destiny, and we have the inner fortitude to make life choices that are intelligent.
My doctors make house calls. I make house calls. I am self insured by the one and only health carrier I’ve ever had in my life — BCBS. I use complementary medicine daily. I embrace the idea and lifestyle that I own my body and it is up to me to take care of it so I am not a burden.
Build The Strength Within is a theme, an attitude, and a lifestyle. I created it for my country and my fellow citizens because I believe we all need and deserve a chance to learn about and then map out our best life. Forget the politics of Obama Care and the rest. Stand up beside me and capture your inner best — it’s there. Use the resources you have, study what I am offering you herein and let’s get America back to the great we all believe in. Your individual, and our collective, well-being are dependent upon it!
