Focus on Happiness for One Week

There are an endless number of ways for us to spend our life, this one life experience that we know we get — we know it because we’re here, right? Too often we find ourselves asking what its all about, why are doing what we do, when is my time for happiness and abundance?

The time is NOW for everything in your life to be happy. I don’t mean that you sit laughing all day long, I mean that deep inside that beautiful core that is you there is pleasure, peace, joy. You find it in each moment because you’ve learned the strategies that allow you to control your mind, instruct yourself to direct your thoughts, and embrace the present breath, hoping for the next.

Happiness is about many things that we come to take for granted. When did you last reach out and touch another person and allow yourself the happiness of that connect?

When, if ever, have you taken quiet moments to actually see something simple and realize it is magnificent?  Photographers talented to the point of being in National Geographic will share with you the pleasure of finding every single thing through their lens as potential awe. A single drop of rain on the petal of a blossoming flower as it reflects light and provides color — that’s awesome and can bring joy into you — if you will allow it.

What do you have to lose by trying this?

My experience reaches to the people in my care as I sit beside them during a chemo treatment or their last days of a hospice routine — they long for just another moment to touch a human being, to experience the sunshine, to hear a thundershower, any of the many things we take for granted. They long for another opportunity as they come to the end of this life journey — we all do. Reach now, allow happiness and joy and peace into your thinking and into your heart and into your daily routines.
