The Paradise Movement was born decades ago from the vision of Dr. Carlin. She dreamed of creating a place where people could experience something beyond the virtual—a real, tangible country estate where peace of mind flourishes. Here physical, spiritual, and soulful rejuvenation come together to form Authentic, Wholistic Well-being. This is encapsulated in the acronym AWW, reflecting her desire for people to live in awe of their lives, who they are, and their place in the world. As more people learned about The Paradise Movement and its mission, they discovered the many programs, services, and assets it offered. Recognizing the impact of Dr. Carlin's work and her fascinating family lineage, they suggested the creation of an institute bearing her name. Thus, The Carlin Institute was established.
